Yes I've read it more than once
 the greatest masterpiece ever
 basically he himself is a novel and his life is such a dramatic one
 For the reason that he was criticizing the miserable bad social and economical conditions concerning that time , including the poor lives , lack of money and how they suffer it , the orphan kids and those who were fighting to get a piece of bread , he was describing himself and his tough life he had been through
this one I read only a summary about it ... also my teachers talked about it
huhuh I delay reading it cuz I will have it as a novel for my Victorian literature course
^____^ ... my mates say it is a wonderful one
There is also David Copperfield and Oliver twist and they really are exciting
 but in the first one he is narrating his real life by being himself one of his heroes with of course little changing
yeah ... I feel Dickens wants every body to know how life is miserable at that age of time
how he was in a prison and how homeless and poverty in the society
so he writes some thing so real and near to what happen
